The development of Swim Secure® products was pioneered by the Chillswim® Team in the UK and Europe, and the product range is the largest selling open water dry-bag & tow-floats in the UK. Swim Secure™ products are used by individuals, families, swimming and triathlon clubs, outdoor centres, and major mass participation open water events.
These products are highly visible in the water, which increases swimmer visibility by other water users such as boats and jet skis, as well as fellow swimmers and support teams on the shore. The Swim Secure® dry-bags and tow-floats will also support an adults weight if you need to rest during your swim.
Steph Hill is co-owner of the Swim Secure™ brand and Director of Chillswim Trading Limited. Steph is an enthusiastic year round open water swimmer with extensive experience in managing professional and mass participation sports events. Steph previously worked as Cycling Services Manager at the London 2012 Olympic Games as well as in a management capacity at various events internationally including Ironman China, the Ford Ironman World Championships, Laguna Phuket International Marathon, and the professional cycle race, the Tour of Britain. Prior to this she set up, ran, wrote, and published a running and multi-sport magazine in Asia for a couple of years, amongst various other things.
Steph is not a champion open water swimmer, she just enjoys it and is very enthusiastic about swimming outside. In 2012 she came fourth from last in the International Winter Swimming World Championships in Latvia (head up breaststroke is her stroke of choice!). Steph prefers fetching objects and doing handstands with her daughter rather than swimming in a straight line, so doesn't have much hope of improving. Her stroke of choice is breaststroke, to enjoy the view.
Steph manages the administrative side of the business and is the lead contact for trade accounts.
